MATERIALS & SUSTAINABILITY
We try to do our bit for the environment by sourcing eco-friendly materials and reducing our environmental impact as much as possible in all stages of production.
Some of the ways we try to make a difference is by reducing chemical impacts of toxic dyes in the textile printing process, designing to minimise waste, focusing on emotionally durable design, giving profits from certain products to a charity, using reusable, recyclable and biodegradable packaging, and continuing to educate ourselves on how we can reduce our overall environmental impact on the planet.
MATERIALS WE USE
COTTON-LINEN // Our cushions are made from a 55% linen and 45% combed cotton blend, the natural fibres of the material means it can be recycled as the fabric properties are not mixed with synthetic fibres. As cotton and linen are natural fibres, they are biodegradable and the particles will break down over a shorter period of time.
CARE // Machine wash cool on a gentle/delicate setting using phosphate-free detergent. Machine dry on a low temperature setting and iron on reverse side if needed.

ORGANIC COTTON // We use 100% organic cotton double gauze fabric to make our baby wraps - also referred to as muslin or cheesecloth wraps. The natural fibres of the cotton means it is biodegradable and the particles will break down over a shorter period of time when recycled.
CARE // This fabric crinkles when washed, which results in a breathable, textured material, perfect for swaddling. Machine wash warm or cool on a gentle/delicate setting, using phosphate-free detergent. Air dry or machine dry on a low temperature setting. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric.

CHIFFON // Our scarves are made from 100% polyester chiffon fabric printed using ecologically-safe transfer sublimation inks that provide vibrant color and strong wash durability.
CARE // This fabric crinkles when washed, which results in a breathable, textured material, perfect for swaddling. Machine wash warm or cool on a gentle/delicate setting, using phosphate-free detergent. Air dry or machine dry on a low temperature setting. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric.
OUR ECO FRIENDLY VALUES
ZERO WASTE // By implementing the zero-waste strategy in the designing process, we reduce the use of materials and textile waste by creating a cutting layout that generates no scraps as it is estimated that 15% of textiles intended for the fashion industry ends up on the cutting room floor.
DIGITALLY PRINTED // Reduces the use of materials, energy and water by using a pigment printing process instead of reactive dyes, as well as consuming very little water. The pigment inks meet the Oeko-Tex 100 requirements to be free of restricted chemicals.
